将 Update Manager 从 Windows 迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance 6.5

对于 vSphere 6.0 和早期版本，64 位 Windows 操作系统是唯一受 Update Manager 支持的主机操作系统。在 vSphere 6.5 中，Update Manager 是作为 vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 中的可选服务提供的。VMware 提供了受支持的途径用于将 Update Manager 从 Windows 操作系统迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance 6.5。

可以迁移以下 vCenter Server 部署中的 Update Manager：

您可以使用 GUI 方法或 CLI 方法迁移使用外部 Update Manager 实例的 vCenter Server 部署。如果使用 GUI 方法，请在 Update Manager Windows 系统上执行手动步骤。如果使用 CLI 方法，请在 JSON 模板中添加有关 Update Manager 的配置参数。

注： 如果要迁移使用外部 Update Manager 实例（在单独的 Windows 计算机上运行）的 vCenter Server 系统，您必须先在 Update Manager 计算机上运行 Migration Assistant。

重要事项： 确认 Update Manager 源计算机未运行连接到其他 vCenter Server 系统的附加扩展，这些扩展不是迁移的一部分。

迁移之前，Update Manager 可能会使用任何支持的 Microsoft SQL Server、Oracle 或嵌入式数据库解决方案。迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance 后，Update Manager 开始使用 PostgreSQL 数据库。
