融合是将具有外部 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter Server 实例重新配置或转换为具有嵌入式 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter Server 实例的过程。

第 1 阶段 在第 1 阶段，融合过程会执行以下任务：
  1. 在 vCenter Server A 上部署新的嵌入式 Platform Services Controller B，并且对其进行设置，以便原始 Platform Services Controller A 中的所有数据都在新的嵌入式 Platform Services Controller B 中进行复制。
  2. 配置新的嵌入式 Platform Services Controller B，以便它适用于 vCenter Server A 节点。
  3. 将 vCenter Server A 重新指向新的嵌入式 Platform Services Controller B。
第 2 阶段 第 2 阶段显示包含具有嵌入式 Platform Services Controller B 的 vCenter Server A 的新节点。

可以取消配置原始 Platform Services Controller A。
