将 Update Manager从 Windows 迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance 6.7

对于 vSphere 6.5 和更高版本，Update Manager作为 64 位应用程序提供，并且只能安装在 64 位 Windows 操作系统上。在 vSphere 6.5 和 6.7中，Update Manager是作为 vCenter Server Appliance 6.7 中的可选服务提供的。VMware 提供了受支持的途径用于将 Update Manager 从 Windows 操作系统迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance 6.7。

可以迁移以下 vCenter Server部署中的 Update Manager：

您可以使用 GUI 方法或 CLI 方法迁移使用外部 Update Manager实例的vCenter Server 部署。如果使用 GUI 方法，请在Update ManagerWindows 系统上执行手动步骤。如果使用 CLI 方法，请在 JSON 模板中添加有关 Update Manager的配置参数。

注： 如果要迁移使用外部 Update Manager 实例（在单独的 Windows 计算机上运行）的 vCenter Server 系统，您必须先在 Update Manager 计算机上运行 Migration Assistant。

重要事项： 确认 Update Manager源计算机未运行连接到其他 vCenter Server 系统的附加扩展，这些扩展不是迁移的一部分。

迁移之前，Update Manager可能会使用任何受支持的 Microsoft SQL Server、Oracle 或嵌入式数据库解决方案。迁移到 vCenter Server Appliance后，Update Manager 将使用 PostgreSQL 数据库。
