支持的 Windows 操作系统和数据库格式

Update Manager 使用特定数据库和操作系统。

Update Manager 服务器需要 64 位 Windows 系统。

要查看可安装 Update Manager 服务器和 UMDS 的受支持 Windows 操作系统的列表，请参见 VMware vCenter Server 安装支持的主机操作系统。本文列出的 vCenter Server 安装支持的 Windows 操作系统也适用于安装 Update Manager 服务器和 Update Manager Download Service (UMDS) 的相应版本。

注： 确保要安装 Update Manager 服务器的 Windows 系统不是 Active Directory 域控制器。

在 Windows 上安装的 Update Manager 服务器需要 SQL Server 或 Oracle 数据库。Update Manager 可以使用安装程序中捆绑的 SQL Server 2012 Express 数据库来处理小型环境。对于拥有超过 5 个主机和 50 个虚拟机的环境，可为 Update Manager 创建一个 Oracle 或 SQL Server 数据库。对于大型环境，设置 Update Manager 数据库所用的计算机应该不同于 Update Manager 服务器和 vCenter Server 数据库所在的计算机。
