Known issues

This release has the following issues:

  • Application Live View Convention configures apps to expose all Spring Boot actuator endpoints by default to whatever is configured by the Spring Boot Convention for the management port. For how to prevent this, see Security Advice.
  • Under certain circumstances, the Application Live View Connector component restarts quite frequently. This usually doesn't cause any problems when using Application Live View.
  • The Application Live View Connector component sometimes fails, resulting in no Application Live View information showing in the UI. You can fix this by restarting the connector components in the cluster. For more information, see Troubleshooting.

  • Application Live View components are split into three bundles with new package reference names: backend, connector, and conventions.
  • Application Live View Convention Service is now compatible with the cert-manager version 1.7.1.
  • Application Live View Convention now takes into account the management port setting from the Spring Boot Convention.
  • Structured JSON logging is integrated into Application Live View Backend and Application Live View Convention.
  • Updated Spring Native 0.10.5 to 0.10.6.
