To view or troubleshoot an issue, you can download the log files.


  1. Go to Discovery > Activity > Tasks.
  2. Select a task that you want to view the details.
    You see the Task Details page.

    If logs are enabled for a task, you see the Logs tab, that contains the list of virtual machines and the task status.

  3. Expand a virtual machine log on the left side.
    You see the logs if available.
  4. Click the download icon to download the virtual machine specific log file of a particular task.


You see the file containing logs downloaded to the default directory.
