Join or Leave the Customer Experience Improvement Program

Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu participates in VMware's Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP). This program provides information that enables VMware to improve its products and services, to correct problems, and to advise you on how best to deploy and use the products.

As part of the CEIP, VMware collects the technical information about your organization's use of the VMware products and services regularly in association with your organization's VMware license keys. This information does not personally identify any individual.

Details regarding the data collected through CEIP and the purposes for which it is used by VMware are set forth in the Trust & Assurance Center at https://www.vmware.com/solutions/trustvmware/ceip.html.

You can join or leave the Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) for Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu .

1. Navigate to the top right corner and click on the user name.
2. Go to Administration > CEIP..

   The Customer Experience Improvement Program window opens.

3. To join CEIP, click the Join Program option.

   This action activates CEIP and sends data to https://vmware.com.

4. To configure an HTTP server for telemetry,
   1. Select the Enable proxy for telemetry option.
   2. Provide the server details.
   3. Click Save.
      Note: To delete the collected data that you sent through telemetry, you must raise a GSS request with the telemetry instance ID of your appliance that you see on this CEIP page.
5. To leave CEIP, click the Leave Program option.
