You view and manage Data Management for VMware Tanzu infrastructure from the Infrastructure view.

The Infrastructure view includes information about the onboarded vSphere infrastructures:

  • The Agent VM IP identifies the IP Address of the Agent VM.
  • The Status column identifies the current status of the infrastructure.
  • The Version column identifies the version of the Agent running on the Agent VM.
  • The vCenter IP identifies the network address of the vCenter server instance.
  • The Network identifies the Control Plane Network configured when the Agent was onboarded.
  • The Cluster Name identifies the name of the vCenter cluster on which compute resources for provisioned Service Instances will reside.
  • The Datacenter identifies name of the vCenter data center in which the infrastructure resides.

You can perform actions on an infrastructure after you click on it.

Supported Actions

Actions that you can perform on a Data Management for VMware Tanzu infrastructure include:

  • Adding infrastructure to your installation. An Organization Administrator user performs this task outside of the DMS console.
  • Deleting infrastructure to repair an onboarding issue. A Provider Administrator or Organization Administrator user may perform this console-initiated task.

A Provider Administrator user can also assign organizations to, and remove organizations from, a Data Management for VMware Tanzu infrastructure. These actions are available from the Infrastructure Details tab, Organizations pane:
