You can add a Organization Administrator or Organization User Local user to a Tenant Org that you have created in Data Management for VMware Tanzu. Any Local user that you add can provision a database instance in DMS.
Before you add a user, ensure that you can identify the user's name, organization, email address, role, and contact number (optional).
You will also be required to assign a temporary password for the user. Ensure that the password that you set meets the password policy rules of Data Management for VMware Tanzu. The password must contain:
Perform the following procedure to create a new Local user:
Select Users from the left navigation pane.
This actions displays the Users view, a table that lists the configured users.
Click CREATE USER in the upper right corner of the view.
This action opens the Add User form.
Set the user properties:

First name | The first name of the user. |
Last name | The last name of the user. |
Organization | Select the Organization to which to assign the user from the drop-down list. |
Email id | The email address of the user. This is the user's login username in the Data Management for VMware Tanzu console. |
Role | The user's role in the organization; use the checkbox to assign the Admin or User role to the user. |
Password | The password for the user. This is the user's login password in the Data Management for VMware Tanzu console. |
Confirm Password | Enter the password a second time. |
Contact Number | The contact number for the user. Optional. |
Click ADD.
The new user is added to the table.
Communicate the Data Management for VMware Tanzu temporary log in credentials to the user. Be sure to remind the user that they will be prompted to change this temporary password when they first log in to the Data Management for VMware Tanzu console.
