Kubernetes Container Storage Interface driver for VMware Cloud Director™ is a storage solution for Tanzu Kubernetes Grid clusters on VMware Cloud Director™. The solution supports dynamic creation and deletion of persistent volumes, that reside on shared named disks in VMware Cloud Director.

The solution is distributed as a container image, which is hosted on the Distribution Harbor registry in the vmware-cloud-director > cloud-director-named-disk-csi-driver repository.

Note: The solution is not impacted by the security vulnerability in Apache Log4j.

You can install Kubernetes Container Storage Interface driver for VMware Cloud Director into a Tanzu Kubernetes Grid cluster. To create a cluster and operate the solution, you require the Kubernetes Cluster Author role. See Required Roles.
