You must add a credential for an SNMP adapter instance. The credential can be of SNMP v2C or V3.
You can add the credential before you create the adapter instance and select the correct credential while configuring the adapter instance. You can also add the credential while configuring the adapter instance.
Procedure
- In the menu, click Administration and then in the left pane, click Other Accounts.
- Click Add Account and then, click SNMP Adapter.
- To add new credentials, click the plus icon next to the Credential drop-down menu.
- Enter the credential details.

- Click Ok to save the credential.
