Running an Action from the vCenter Adapter Instance

You can run an action on multiple vCenter resources of the same type from the Inventory Explorer.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have configured the Management Pack for vRealize Orchestrator.

Procedure

1. In the menu, select Administration and click Inventory in the left pane.
2. Select vCenter Server and then vCenter Adapter Instance from the list of adapter instances.
3. Select the vCenter resources of type Virtual Machine.
4. Click the Action icon and select the action that you want to run.
5. Enter the input parameters for the Virtual Machines and click Begin Action.

You can check if the action has been successfully completed under History > Recent Tasks.
