The Management Pack for vCloud Director has certain installation and configuration requirements.
vCenter Adapter Requirements
You must install and configure the vCenter adapter along with the Management Pack for vCloud Director.
The Management Pack for vCloud Director uses the virtual machine collected by the vCenter adapter to create relationships between virtual machines and the virtual appliances collected by the vCloud Director.

Tenant App for vCloud Director Requirements
You can install and configure Tenant App for vCloud Director if you want to provide tenant views about usage and billing to the tenants.

NSX-T Adapter Requirements
You must install and configure the NSX-T Adapter if you want to monitor and meter advanced network parameters of vCloud Director.
The Management Pack for vCloud Director uses the tier 1 logical router collected by the NSX-T Adapter to create a relationship between vCloud Director edge gateway and tier 1 logical router.

vRealize Operations Management Pack for NSX for vSphere Requirements
You must install and configure the Management Pack for NSX for vSphere if you want to monitor and meter advanced network parameters of vCloud Director.
The Management Pack for vCloud Director uses the edge gateway of the Management Pack for NSX for vSphere to create a relationship between vCloud Director edge gateway and NSX for vSphere edge gateway.
The credentials that are entered in the Management Pack for NSX for vSphere are used by the Management Pack for vCloud Director to collect advanced network metrics from NSX for vSphere about the Management Pack for vCloud Director edge gateways.

VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability Requirements
You must install and configure the VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability if you want to meter the availability services offered by vCloud Director Availability extension to vCloud Director.
The VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability uses the replication object created by the VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability to establish a relationship with Org VDC objects created by the Management Pack for vCloud Director.

Credential Requirements
You must provide the user name and password of a vCloud Director user when you create a credential for a Management Pack for vCloud Director. You must have an Administrator, SSO, or tenant credentials with administrative privileges.
Additional Software Requirements
The Management Pack for vCloud Director uses VCD Java SDK (vsdjavasdk) 8.0 to communicate with vCloud Director. The JAR files for the SDK are provided in the lib folder under the Management Pack for vCloud Director installation folder.
