The vRealize Operations Management Pack for Storage Devices provides you with a view of your entire storage devices, from your host, through your storage network, and out to the storage array. With this solution, you can use vRealize Operations Manager to monitor and troubleshoot capacity and performance problems on different components of your storage area network and network-attached storage.

Scalability
The Management Pack for Storage Devices collects physical storage data objects through vSphere APIs from VASA-enabled devices and through CIM servers. The scale of the management pack depends on the number of objects and metrics collected per object. Depending on storage topology requirements, the number of Management Pack for Storage Devices objects varies in each environment.
