When the Management Pack for Storage Devices is installed, it adds preconfigured dashboards and alert definitions that you use to monitor and troubleshoot the components in your storage area network. You can also create alert definitions specific to your environment.

vRealize Operations Manager generates an alert if a problem occurs with the components in the storage area network that the Management Pack for Storage Devices is monitoring.
