Horizon Adapter improved error messaging to provide a detailed response to the potential root cause of connection validation failures.
Failed to Test adapter instance. Reason - Only Administrator on Root are allowed to access the REST APIs
Solution: Provide administrator with Root access to configure the Horizon adapter.
Failed to Test adapter instance. Reason - Invalid Credentials / Invalid Account provided for Horizon Connection server
Solution: Check if the AD user provided is not deleted in the Active Directory.
Failed to Test adapter instance. Reason - This user can not sign in because the account is currently disabled
Solution: Check if the AD user provided is not deleted in the Active Directory.
Failed to Test adapter instance. Reason - Invalid Credentials / Invalid Account provided for Horizon Connection server
Solution: Check if the AD user provided is not disabled in Active Directory.
Failed to Test adapter instance. Reason - Verify the Connection Server IP address or FQDN. Note that specifying a Load Balancer or Unified Access Gateway IP address or FQDN is unsupported
Solution: Provide a supported Horizon Connection Server IP address or FQDN.
Invalid or expired Horizon Connection Server certificates
Solution: Import valid Horizon Connection Server certificate to configure the Horizon adapter.
Horizon Connection Server URL is not reachable
Solution: Add the Horizon Connection Server entry in /etc/hosts
file of vRealize Operations nodes or Cloud Proxy to configure the Horizon adapter.
