Alerts (VNX)

The Management Pack for Dell EMC VNX pulls alerts and events from EMC VNX Manager and displays them in vRealize Operations as alerts. See the table below for the list of alerts available in the Management Pack.

Note: Only VNXFile produces actual alerts. VNXBlock passes through notification events only.

Control Station Failover	A NAS services daemon process has terminated on a subordinate Data Mover.	Control Station Failover	This is indicative that this Control Station may have failed over. If the failover event was planned, no further action is recommended at this time. If the problem persists, a different event will be triggered that will result in a call home that engages your authorized service provider for further investigation.
