VMware Cloud Director Configuration Properties

In the Management Pack for VMware Cloud Director , the Advanced Settings option in the Configuration window includes some of the properties from the vcloud.properties file.

• vApp Collection Interval (Minutes)
• VM Collection Interval (Minutes)
• Process Events

By default, the Management Pack for VMware Cloud Director instance collects virtual machines and virtual appliances every 5 minutes. You can use the VM Collection Interval (Minutes) option to change the virtual machine collection interval and the vApp Collection Interval (Minutes) option to change the virtual appliance collection interval. You can use the Enable Advanced Metrics to enable the collection of Advanced Metrics and the Enable Metadata to enable the collection of Metadata. You can use the Enable Container Service Extension to enable the collection of CSE resources and metrics, and Enable App LaunchPad Extension to enable the collection of App LaunchPad resources and metrics.

Note: The parameters Enable Container Service Extension and Enable App LaunchPad Extension must be set to true in order to enable the Kubernetes Integration and ALP Application.
