You can troubleshoot generic Management Pack problems such as, connection errors, collector or collector group errors, certificate errors and other issues which occur while using vRealize Operations Cloud.

Certificate Expired

vRealize Operations Cloud might prompt you with a Certificate Expired or Renew Certificate message when you try to validate the connection.

Solution:
  1. Validate the connection to import the new certificate.
  2. You might have to remove the existing certificate.

Incorrect Credentials

You might be prompted with incorrect credentials error message when you validate the connection between vRealize Operations Cloud and the Management Pack.

Solution: Acquire correct credentials for the endpoint.

Unreachable Error

Connection unreachable or connection timeout error is displayed when you try to validate the connection between vRealize Operations and the Management Pack.

Solution: SSH to vRealize Operations/CP node ping and curl -v telnet://<endpoint>:443 to validate connectivity.

Collector or Collector Group Missing

The Management Pack might report collector or collector group missing error, if the collector is offline or the collector is not assigned to a Management Pack.

Solution: Verify that collector is online and is assigned to the Management Pack.
