Migration to the VMware Site Recovery Manager Virtual Appliance

You can migrate your Site Recovery Manager 8.3.x instance from Windows to the Site Recovery Manager 8.3.x virtual appliance and then upgrade to Site Recovery Manager 8.5.0.8 Virtual Appliance. Resolved Issues

  • The Site Recovery Manager inventory is not populated when configuring the sites

    This issue occurs when using vRealize Orchestrator with vCenter Server instances in enhanced linked mode.

    This issue is fixed in Site Recovery Manager 8.5.0.8.

  • The Site Recovery UI might cause a high CPU usage on vCenter Server

    When the CPU utilization on vCenter Server reaches 100%, you are unable to log in. If you are already logged in, the operations are extremely slow.

    This issue is fixed in Site Recovery Manager 8.5.0.8.

  • You are unable to remove the protection of a virtual machine

    When you attempt to remove the protection of a virtual machine, the operation fails with an error: Internal error: Received unexpected exception from multi-site operation.

    This issue is fixed in Site Recovery Manager 8.5.0.8.
