The Android for Work settings page lets you configure the various options for integrating with Android for Work prior to enrolling Android for Work devices. Android for Work configuration uses a wizard to help you set up the integration for devices.
The Configuration tab walks you through the Android for Work setup. You will first be redirected to Google Play for Work to begin configuration, and upon completion you will be redirected back here.

Choose if devices should be associated with the enrollment user or device.
When using paid apps, User Based is preferred for optimal license allocation. For scenarios where a single user will not be associated with the device (such as Kiosks), Device Based is preferred.
|Define devices that are allowed to Utilize Android for Work||
Limit Android for Work to specific device models or operating systems. Select whether to Enroll all compatible devices, Do not use Android for Work, or Limit Android for Work enrollments to specific smart groups.
Select a smart group from the drop-down menu.
When a smart group(s) is selected, only devices or users that belong to that group(s) will go through enrollment through Android for Work. This is assuming that these devices are Android for Work capable. The remaining devices will go through legacy enrollment with Device Administrator.
