Web applications provide end-users access to URLs directly from an icon on their devices. The AirWatch system has two types of web applications, SaaS and web links. SaaS applications are applications are integrated with the VMware Identity Manager system. Web links are applications configured solely in the AirWatch Console.

SaaS applications are URLs that users can launch from an icon on their device. These applications offer access control with single sign on features and conditional access policies. Originally, admins managed these applications in their VMware Identity Manager instance. As the Workspace ONE platform grows with features, one feature enables admins to manage SaaS applications in the AirWatch Console.

Web Links Admins and Management
Your deployment might have need for an admin that manages your web applications. For configurations specific to this type of admin, see Web Apps Admins and Roles Exceptions.
Use the View Devices page to manage your web applications. For the actions available on the View Devices page, see Configure View Devices for Web Links Applications.
