Configuring a Wi-Fi profile lets devices connect to corporate networks, even if they are hidden, encrypted or encrypted, or protected. The Wi-Fi profile can be useful for end users who travel to various office locations that have their own unique wireless networks or for automatically configuring devices to connect to the appropriate wireless network while in an office.

When pushing a Wi-Fi profile to devices running Android 6.0+, if a user already has their device connected to a Wi-Fi network through a manual setup; the Wi-Fi configuration cannot be changed by AirWatch. For example, if the Wi-Fi password has been changed and you push the updated profile to enrolled devices, some users have to update their device with the new password manually.
