You can access AppDefense information in the vSphere Client from the hosts on which you have installed the AppDefense Host Module, and VMs where you have installed AppDefense Guest Module.

Hosts and Clusters > Click the required host. Summary The AppDefense panel appears on the Summary tab. You can view details like install status, version number, VMs having AppDefense installed, and overall health status. You can install or upgrade AppDefense Host Module from this page.
Hosts and Clusters > Click the required host. Configure > AppDefense > Security The AppDefense > Security page displays the connection status. You can install or upgrade AppDefense Host Module from this page.
VMs and Templates > Click the required VM. Summary The AppDefense panel appears on the Summary tab of any virtual machine in the vCenter Server inventory. You can install, upgrade, or view details about the AppDefense Guest Module from the panel.
VMs and Templates > Click the required VM. Monitor > AppDefense > Guest Monitoring The AppDefense > Guest Monitoring page displays list of the processes that are monitored by AppDefense on that particular VM.
  • To view the details, click the name of the process. The Outbound Connection and Inbound Connection tabs displays further details.
  • To come back to the process list page, click Back To Processes.
  • If your AppDefense connectivity mode is SaaS, and you have AppDefense Service (SaaS) subscription, to navigate to the login page of the AppDefense Manager, click the Open AppDefense link. For details on how to subscribe to SaaS, refer to AppDefense Getting Started.
