You can help VMware to collect log files automatically from your server. You can turn on the automatic log collection feature from the AppDefense Service (SaaS) that can help to troubleshoot any issues.

You can enable or disable automatic log collection feature.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the AppDefense Manager.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Inventory.
  3. Click the Appliances tab, and go to Enable automatic log collection.

  4. Toggle to turn on the automatic log collection option to help VMware to collect log files from your server. VMware uses the log files to troubleshoot any support issues for which you have opened any support ticket.
  5. To proceed, click Yes.
    The automatic log collection feature is enabled.
