VMware Aria Operations integration credentials with VMware Aria Automation
This section describes the credentials that are required to integrate with VMware Aria Operations. These credentials are established and configured in VMware Aria Operations, not in VMware Aria Automation.

- Adapter Instance vCenter Adapter > VC Adapter Instance for vCenter-FQDN
Login account for integration
In VMware Aria Operations, you need a local or non-local VMware Aria Operations login account for the integration to use. The account requires read-only privileges to the vCenter adapter instance for the vSphere endpoint. Note that a non-local account might need to be imported in VMware Aria Operations and have its read-only role assigned.
For the integration, the username format for non-local account login is username@domain@authenticated-source, such as [email protected]@vIDMAuthSource.
If you are using Workspace ONE Access for source authentication, your account login is username without any domain information. Authenticated sources are defined during VMware Aria Operations server initial setup.
