For VMware Aria Automation to work with VMware Aria Operations, you have an automatic VMware Aria Operations account endpoint integration.
The automatic VMware Aria Operations account endpoint
VMware Aria Automation automatically discovers and adds an integration for a VMware Aria Operations instance when that VMware Aria Operations is linked to the same organization.
For the automatic endpoint, a discovery process runs every 15 minutes and refreshes VMware Aria Automation with the following:
- Any new VMware Aria Operations being associated with the organization.
- Any updates to a current VMware Aria Operations associated with the organization.
- Any new vCenters or cloud accounts monitored by the linked VMware Aria Operations.
- Any removed vCenters or cloud accounts that were monitored by the linked VMware Aria Operations.
The automatic endpoint uses internal system client credentials to access VMware Aria Operations. You can't update the endpoint through user credentials, in either the user interface or by REST API.
VMware Aria Automation won't create an endpoint for an on-premises vRealize Operations associated with the organization. VMware Aria Automation only supports VMware Aria Operations.
