Configuring directory services using the LDAP protocol

You can use the Authentication workspace to configure directory services for Automation Config using the LDAP protocol. This protocol is used for connecting to services such as Active Directory or Microsoft Azure.

VMware Cloud Services Platform (CSP) offers an LDAP integration for any SaaS product customer that must connect to services such as Active Directory or Microsoft Azure. Refer to the Setting up Enterprise Federation with VMware Cloud Services Guide for steps on how to connect your instance of Automation Config to an LDAP server.
