Getting Your Authentication Token

In the REST API, VMware Aria Automation requires an HTTP authentication token in the request header. Getting your authentication token is a prerequisite for any use case.

The access token is the token you use to authenticate all API calls. To acquire an access token, you first generate an API token using your user account in the VMware Aria Automation console, then you generate an access token using the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) API.
