Error Message When You Configure the MP4H Adapter

MP4H configuration cannot proceed and issues an error message when you try to validate the connection.

Problem

When you deploy the MP4H and attempt to validate the connection, the following error message appears:Testing Horizon Rest API connectivity with RestTemplate for url: X.X.X.X failed.

Cause

Missing Host URL of the Connection server in the certificate presented to vROps. This problem occurs if you have both external and internal domain URLs for connection servers and use the external domain URL as the Host URL when configuring the MP4H.

Solution

1. Update the Horizon certificates with the inclusion of the missing Connection server Host URLs.
2. Configure a new Connection Server or update an existing Connection Server in the same pod with self- signed certificate for monitoring, and then configure MP4H using the same Connection Server.
