Running an Action from the vCenter Adapter Instance

You can run an action on multiple vCenter resources of the same type from the Inventory Explorer.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have configured the Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.

Procedure

1. From the left menu, click Environment, and then click Inventory.
2. Click vCenter Server, and then click vCenter Adapter Instance from the list of adapter instances.
3. Select the vCenter resources of type Virtual Machine.
4. Click the Actions icon, and then select the action that you want to run.
5. Enter the input parameters for the Virtual Machines and click Begin Action.

What to do next

From the left menu, click Administration, and then click Recent Tasks, to check if the action has been successfully completed.
