An instance of vCenter must be available in the Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator and the same instance must be configured in VMware Aria Operations. If this is not available, you can add a vCenter Instance to Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator from VMware Aria Operations.

Prerequisites

The Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator must be configured.

Procedure

  1. From the left menu, click Environment, and then click Inventory.
  2. Select Adapter Instances, and then select VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Adapter Instance from the list of adapter instances.
  3. Select the VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator adapter instance.
    A list of all the objects are displayed on the right pane.
  4. From the right pane, select the VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator to which you want to add a vCenter instance.
  5. Click the Action icon, and then click Add a vCenter Instance to VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.
  6. Configure the properties.
  7. Click Begin Action.
    A task is added to the task list.
