Apply Policy to SDDC Health Group

After you have installed the VMware SDDC Health Monitoring Solution, you have to select the SDDC Health policy from the SDDC Health Group to display the alerts related to the VMware SDDC Health Monitoring Solution.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have installed the VMware SDDC Health Monitoring Solution.

Procedure

1. From the left menu, click Configure > Policies, and then from the policies library, select SDDC Health Policy.
2. Click the More Actions tab, and then select Set Default Policy.
3. To apply the policy for the SDDC Health Group objects, select the policy, and then click the More Actions tab. Click Edit Policy.
4. In the Default Policy [Edit] workspace, click Groups and Objects.
5. Select the check box for the required groups or objects.
6. Click Save.

Note:

If you have any custom policies, apply the following super metrics to those policies to avoid user-defined custom policies to be overridden.

• Super Metric| Number of Children
• Super Metric| Children Badge health
