Dashboards

Dashboards are the primary feature for monitoring and troubleshooting Apache Tomcat data problems from within VMware Aria Operations.

The following dashboards are included in the Management Pack for Apache Tomcat:

• Apache Tomcat Overview displays heatmaps depicting the overall health of all resources in your Apache Tomcat environment.Selecting a server will populate any alerts in the Top Server Alerts widget at the bottom of the dashboard.

• Apache Tomcat Environment Overview displays health status, at-a-glance, of all resources in your Apache Tomcat environment.By clicking on the colored badge icon for a resource on the left, you can investigate the selected resource's alerts and KPIs displayed on the right.

• Apache Tomcat Server allows you to drill down and investigate KPIs for a selected server—and associated web modules, servlets, and virtual machines—by selecting a resource on the left and populating the KPIs on the right.

• Apache Tomcat Virtual Machine Viewer allows you to select a virtual machine to view its specific KPIs (CPU/memory usage, read/write latency, etc.), and enables furtherinvestigation of the VM's related server, session manager, and web module KPIs side-by-side.
