Dashboards

Dashboards are the primary feature for monitoring and troubleshooting SolarWinds NPM from within VMware Aria Operations.

The following dashboards are included in the Management Pack for SolarWinds NPM:

• SolarWinds NPM Overview provides at-a-glance heatmap views depicting the overall health of your SolarWinds resources (nodes, VLAN nodes, fibre channel units, fibre channel ports, fibre sensors, etc.).

• SolarWinds NPM Health Investigation allows you to select an alert to view key performance indicators (KPIs), relationships, and a topology view of the affected resource.

• SolarWinds NPM KPIs allows you to select a SolarWinds NPM resource to view the health status, alerts, and KPIs specific to that resource.

• SolarWinds NPM Top-10 displays the Top 10 highest utilization NPM resources for various metrics.

• SolarWinds NPM Used By OSs allows you to select an End Point Operating System (EP Ops) and related node to view KPIs for each selected resource. From the topology view, you can also select any shown resource to view its KPIs.

• SolarWinds NPM Used By ESXi Hosts allows you to select an ESXi host and related node to view KPIs for each resource. From the topology view, you can also select any shown resource to view its KPIs.

• SolarWinds NPM Used By VMs allows you to select a Virtual Machine (VM) and related node to view KPIs for both selections. From the topology view, you can also select any shown resource to view its KPIs.
