Transparent Configuration

Prerequisites

There are some requirements and prerequisites to perform transperant configuation of NSX Advanced Load Balancer. They are:

• This document assumes that NSX Advanced Load Balancer is already deployed in VMware environment with write access mode and is fully functional.

• NSX Advanced Load Balancer's Service Engines are deployed and have access to the network on which Operations for Logs cluster is deployed

• NSX Advanced Load Balancer deployment mode is two-armed

  • One arm is placed in the back-end network

  • The other arm is placed in the front-end network

• The high availability mode for Service Engines is Legacy Active/Standby and Distribute Load options are not enabled

• Operations for Logs cluster has been deployed in the environment and is fully functional with all nodes in the cluster

• Firewall is configured to allow the appropriate connections
