Perform a Bulk Edit on an Alert

In VMware Aria Operations for Networks, you can edit multiple alert definitions at once.

Procedure

1. In the Alert Definitions page, select the alerts that you want to edit.
   When you select multiple alerts, the options ENABLE, DISABLE, and EDIT appear above the list.
2. Click EDIT, and make the required changes.

   Option	Action
   Severity	Select an option from the drop-down menu. You see the following options: No change: Default value Override existing values: Overwrites the existing values and sets the new value as per your selection.
   Tags	Select an option from the drop-down menu. You can overwrite existing tags, add new tags, or remove existing tags.
   Email immediately	Select an option from the drop-down menu. If you select Enable, you get email notification immediately when an alert is raised.
   Email daily digest	Select an option from the drop-down menu. If you select Enable, you get email notification at a pre-select time every day for all the alerts that are raised in the system.
   SNMP Trap	Select an option from the drop-down menu. You can enable or deactivate SNMP traps.

3. Click SUBMIT.
