You might need to add virtual memory to keep the VMware Aria Operations process running.

When the VMware Aria Operations virtual machine requests more memory than is available, the Linux kernel might kill the vcops-analytics process, and the product might become unresponsive. If that happens, use the reservation feature in vSphere to specify the guaranteed minimum memory allocation for VMware Aria Operations virtual machines.

Procedure

  1. In the vSphere Client inventory, right-click the VMware Aria Operations virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
  2. Click the Resources tab, and select Memory.
  3. Use the Reservation option to allocate more memory.
