Configure the VMware Cloud Services Platform

After you get access to the VMware Cloud services platform, you must set up an organization or use an existing organization. VMware Cloud service platform uses organizations to provide controlled access to one or more cloud services. You must belong to an organization before you can access a cloud service.
Note: If you have an existing organization, you may want to consider using that organization to maximize integrated experiences with cloud services.
Note: VMware Aria Operations pings the VMware Cloud Services Platform for user sync after the instance starts, and then every 30 minutes by default. For some of the organizations, the sync interval is manually changed to 24 hours by modifying VMware Aria Operations analytics configuration files.

After you select the organization, you can choose the region where you want your VMware Aria Operations instance to be hosted. VMware Aria Operations is supported in multiple regions. See the VMware Aria Operations Release Notes for the updated list instance to be hosted.

For more information on how to use the VMware Cloud services platform, see the VMware Cloud Services Documentation.
Note: For enterprise federation, see the topic, What is enterprise federation and how does it work.
