VMware Aria Universal Suite requires the following software deployed in your on-premises environment.

The version requirements for your on-premises products can differ depending on if you are using CPU based or core based VMware Aria Universal Suite subscriptions.

Note:

  • If you are using VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.4.0 or later, VMware Identity Manager is not required.

  • If you have an older version of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, upgrade to VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.2 version or later.

  • For an existing VMware Aria Suite product, such as VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations, or VMware Aria Operations for Logs that is not managed by VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, ensure that you import it to VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle. For more information on how to upgrade VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle and import the existing VMware Aria deployments, refer to the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle documentation.

CPU based VMware Aria Universal Suite subscriptions support the following VMware Aria product versions.

Note:

  • For VMware Aria Operations version 8.6, removing perpetual licenses is not mandatory when applying VMware Aria Universal Suite licenses. However, you must remove perpetual keys of VMware Aria Operations version 8.5 or earlier.

  • For product versions that require a patch, download and deploy the required patch using VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle, prior to applying the VMware Aria Universal Suite license key to the product.

  • If your existing VMware Aria product deployment is older than the minimum supported product version, upgrade to the minimum supported product version or later.

Core based VMware Aria Universal Suite subscriptions support the following VMware Aria product versions.
