Manual Scaling of Virtual Services

This section elaborates the manual scaling of virtual services.

Virtual services inherit the values for the minimum and maximum number of SEs from their SE group on which they can be instantiated. Between the virtual service minimum/ maximum values, you can manually scale the virtual service out/in from the UI, CLI, or REST API. Also, within the same SE group, the current SEs virtual service instantiations can be migrated to other SEs.

Note:

• A virtual service’s maximum instantiation count can be below the maximum number of SEs in its group.
