To configure a BGP profile using the web interface:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Infrastructure > Cloud Resources > VRF Context.
  2. Select the Cloud.
  3. Select a VRF Context.
  4. Click the BGP Peering tab, and selct Enable BGP Peering check box.
  5. Specify the the following details:
    • BGP Autonomous System (AS) ID: Specify the local autonomous system ID. The range is between 1 and 4294967295.

    • Type: Select the BGP peer type as iBGP or eBGP.

  6. Under Routing Options, click ADD to configure learning and advertising options for BGP Peers.
    1. Specify the label and check the required route checkboxes.
  7. Under Peers, click ADD and configure the details as shown below:


    1. Specify IPV4, IPV6 prefix and peer details.
    2. Specify peer autonomous system MD5 digest secret key.
    3. Specify the advertisement intervals and timer details for peer.
    4. Check the relevant peer check box.
  8. Click Add under Community Strings and enter either in aa:nn format where aa, nn is within [1,65535] or local-AS|no-advertise|no-export|internet format.


  9. Click Save.
