Installation Options and Credential Methods

This section discusses the various credential methods for AWS integration with the Avi Load Balancer.

When deploying Avi Load Balancer within Amazon Web Services (AWS), the installation wizard prompts for the input of credential information. Users are not required to enter AWS Secret and Access key credentials. The credentials can be entered in either of the following forms:

• Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles

• AWS customer account key

• Use Cross-Account AssumeRole

These credential methods are used during AWS cloud configuration.
