This section provides details on how to access Avi Cloud Console.

You can access Avi Cloud Console as follows:

  • Open https://portal.avipulse.vmware.com on your browser.

  • Authenticate using your Broadcom Support Portal credentials.

  • You will land on the Avi Cloud Console, where you will be able to see license and related information.

Downloading Avi Load Balancer Controller Software

From May 6, 2024, software download will be available on Broadcom Support Portal (https://support.broadcom.com), to customers who have purchased Avi Load Balancer SKUs only.

Download through Avi Cloud Console will no longer be supported.

Installing Avi Load Balancer Controller Software

  1. Install a Avi Load Balancer Controller cluster by following these guides:

    1. Installing Avi Load Balancer in VMware NSX-T Environments section in the Avi Load Balancer Installation Guide.

    2. Installing Avi Load Balancer in VMware vSphere Environments section in the Avi Load Balancer Installation Guide.

    3. Installing Avi Load Balancer in Microsoft Azure section in the Avi Load Balancer Installation Guide.

    4. Installing Avi Load Balancer in Amazon Web Services section in the Avi Load Balancer Installation Guide.

    5. Installing Avi Load Balancer in Google Cloud Platform section in the Avi Load Balancer Installation Guide.

Note:
  1. Configure FQDNs for the Avi Load Balancer Controllers before registering with Cloud Console. Registration will not succeed if the Controllers only have IP Addresses configured.

  2. If configuring FQDNs in your corporate DNS is not possible, you can create local FQDN entries on the workstation from which the browser will be launched to register Avi Load Balancer Controller with Cloud Console. For instance, you can edit /etc/ hosts file on Mac OS.

Upgrading an existing Avi Load Balancer Controller Deployment

  1. You can upgrade an existing Avi Load Balancer Controller deployment as follows:

    1. Download VMware Avi Load Balancer Controller upgrade software by following this KB article: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/82049.

    2. Download upgrade software version 21.1.3 or later.
