Create New Authentication

You can create new authentication and select the service and property details in VMware BMA.

Procedure

1. In the Authentications window, click the Create Authentication button.
   The Add Authentication window appears.
2. Enter the name and description for the authentication.
3. Select the service from the drop-down menu.
4. Enter the following property details.
   • Protocol
   • Host
   • Username
   • Password
5. To configure a property as overridable, select the check box corresponding to the property name.
6. Click Save.

   You can find the new authentication, or authKey, on the page as admin/newAuthentication.
