Minimum Requirements

You must meet the minimum requirements to install and use VMware BMA.

System Requirements

The following are the system requirements for VMware BMA.

VMware BMA Core

A Kubernetes cluster with at least two nodes having the following available resources.

• 4 CPU(s)
• 16 GB RAM
• 50 GB Hard Disk

VMware BMA Remote Worker (Optional for distributed deployment)

A Kubernetes cluster with the following available resources.

• 1 CPU(s)
• 4 GB RAM

Note:

• VMware has tested VMware BMA installation over VMware Kubernetes version 1.24.10, 1.23.16, 1.22.17, 1.23.10, and 1.22.13. VMware Kubernetes cluster is deployed using TCA.
• Kubernetes cluster must have a default storage class configured. For VMware vSphere, it can be vsphere-csi, the addon can be installed within VMware TCA during Kubernetes creation.
• For Remote Worker, due to small footprint, you can install this on an existing Kubernetes cluster that has connectivity to VMware BMA Core.
