Manage SMTP Server Settings

You can create Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to configure Email blocks.

The SMTP configuration allows you to set up the Email block to send notifications, or reset a forgotten password.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the SMTP server credentials.

Procedure

1. Click Global Settings > System Configuration > SMTP Server.
2. Enter the following details.
   1. Enter the host name for your SMTP server and the default port number.
   2. Select the connection security protocol from the drop-down menu.
      The available options are SSL, TSL, and STARTTLS.
   3. Enter the Email user name.
   4. Enter the Email password.
   5. Enter the Email address of the sender.
   6. Enter the name of the sender.
3. Click Save.
