Create New Authentication

You can create new authentication and select the service and property details in VMware BMA.

Procedure

1. In the Authentications window, click the Create Authentication button.
   The Create Authentication window appears.

   

2. Enter the name and description for the authentication.
3. Select the service from the drop-down menu.
4. Enter the property details.
   Note: The Property fields change based on the service you select.
5. Corresponding to the property details, select overridable if you want to edit the property details in future.
   Note: If you do not select overridable for a property, you cannot edit that property in future.
6. Click Create.

   You can find the new authentication, or authKey, on the page as admin/newAuthentication.
