Create Worker Group

You can create new worker groups in VMware BMA.

Procedure

1. Click Global Settings > Worker Groups.
2. In the Worker Groups window, click Create Worker Group.
3. Enter the following details.
   1. Enter the worker group name.
   2. Enter a description for the worker group.
   3. Enter the secret key.
   4. Enter the secret key again to confirm.
4. In the Set hosts excluded from Proxy for this group section, enter the host name that you want to exclude from the proxy in the Host Name field and click Add Host.
5. In the Permissions section, select the roles that you want to assign to the worker group and click right arrow button.
6. Click the Validate Certificates toggle button if you want to enable or disable a worker group’s ability to validate certificates when their workers are making API requests.
   Note: You can also enable or disable the Validate Certificates toggle button for a worker group in the Worker Group window in the Validate Certificates column.
7. Click Create.
   The new worker group appears with the number of active workers, inactive workers, terminated workers, and total workers in the group.
