The LDAP and LDAPS are an optional feature in VMware Blockchain that lets users configure an LDAP authentication. First, you must set up the Windows active directory on your server and client. Then add groups and users and define access protocols for those group members. The supported directory services are Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and openLDAP.
After the domain controller becomes available, you can set up the directoryService parameter values in the infrastructure descriptor file and deploy the VMware Blockchain nodes. The domain users can then access VMware Blockchain nodes with sudo access.
See the Infrastructure and Deployment descriptor topics in the Using and Managing VMware Blockchain guide for implementation details and sample configuration.
